Fearnet has hit it nicely with Zombie Roadkill for me with a show that reminds us of early Sam Raimi with everyone seeming to have a fun time making this great show.

If you’ve not checked out Zombie Roadkill on Fearnet yet, Best Horror Movies Ever can only ask why??? This is one of those fun series that reminds you of Sam Raimi during his Evil Dead Days.
Here’s what it’s all about and best horror movies ever can’t recommend it enough for anyone wanting to have some fun watching messed up horror.

In this terrifyingly funny new series from FEARnet and Ghost House Pictures, a group of college kids driving on an unfamiliar winding road through a national park accidentally run over an unsuspecting squirrel. They quickly discover that this is no ordinary road – the woods are alive with the undead, animals reanimated as vengeful, murderous zombies!
After a harrowing crash, a meek but lovable Simon (David Dorfman, The Ring, Texas Chainsaw Massacre) must venture out to find help for his injured friends and brother. Along the way he runs into dedicated park ranger, Chet Masterson (Thomas Haden Church, Spider-Man 3, Sideways). Together, they attempt to survive this cursed stretch of highway – hopefully with most of their body parts intact.
Genre icons Sam Raimi and Rob Tapert (The Evil Dead Series, Drag Me to Hell) along with Jim Burns shepherded this six part original web series. Ben Ketai (30 Days of Night: Dark Days) and Sarah Donohue (Hatchet II) served as Executive Producers. David Green, whose Meltdown short garnered critical acclaim on the festival circuit, brings a fresh take to the genre in directing this twisted tale about twisted tails.
All of the Zombie Roadkill episodes have aired on Fearnet and you can catch them back to back on demand if you have that. It’s like having the boxset to waste you weekend with. What more could ask for asks best horror movies ever?
