You know Angelea Preston wishes she could be as chatty about her disqualification from ‘America’s Next Top Model’ as Willam Belli has been able to after being surprisingly sent packing from last week’s ‘RuPaul’s Drag Race’. Belli is playing it smart though and we’re already hearing he’ll be on the ‘All Star’ edition.

Unlike Tyra Banks, who really pissed of ‘America’s Next Top Model‘ fans last season leaving the Angelea Preston exit an unsatisfying mystery, RuPaul Charles and Logo are being much savvier in not clamping down on Willam Belli being able to do interviews. While it’s not had the same media storm, this ‘controversy’ has been stroked along very well leaving fans coming back for more tidbits even knowing they won’t get any.
With Preston, there were so many pr stops and starts; one week her reps were saying she was going to give a ‘tell all’ press conference, but then that was just as quickly squashed as her tweets and Facebook updates. The only recent thing she’s tweeted is a slam to America’s Next Top Model network the CW with this “@cw_network please don’t use me in your commercials in Buffalo to get girls to come to auditions for that bullshit show. Thank u ! :)”

It’s been a whole different case with Belli, and frankly, I’m liking him way better since he’s been off the show than when he was on it. On this season, he seemed just a mere plastic like creation without a lot of thoughts, but off the show is a whole different story. Granted, he’s got a great pr team working with him, but when he released that Chick-Fil-A parody I had to go back and watch the earlier episodes of the season to realize I had misjudged him. I think many did, and he’s had quite the tide of new fans rising up, including Sharon Needles who gave Belli a wonderful mention in my colleagues interview yesterday with her.

Logo and RuPaul are obviously happy with the positive wave of publicity that’s come from this, and I’ve had a slew of calls and e-mails informing us that fans will be delighted to hear that Belli will be appearing on the ‘All Star’ edition of RuPaul’s Drag Race. It’s our same sources who told us that Raja was the winner of last season weeks before the show ended so I will give this rumor some credence. Plus it makes perfect sense to have him on it just for publicity sake. If Phi Phi O’Hara is still not on the Willam Team train, it would just delight fans to have the two on that season just for the friction value.
Below are who’s in the top fan favorites to get on the All Stars edition so get voting if you don’t see your favorite in the top.

‘RuPaul’s Drag Race’ has been that rare reality show that’s grown considerably in the ratings since it began and grown creatively stronger so you know Logo and RuPaul will be picking smartly for the ‘All Star’ edition to keep that winning streak going. We did reach out to Belli to comment on the story, but we’ve not hear anything back. If we hear back, we’ll update this and let you all know it! Again, this is our same sources who gave us the scoop last year about Raja’s win, but I didn’t want to spoil it for the fans. I think Belli getting on the All Star edition will only drive more fans to watch it after the reunion show which is guaranteed to score a ratings coup from fans desperate to know what made him get disqualified.
