Vin Diesel’s realized that sequels have gotten his career back, so he’s using his Facebook page to get another stab at a ‘Riddick’ sequel. His name choice for the next film ‘Riddick Returns’.

Since the mainstream press won’t help him push his next ‘Riddick‘ sequel, Vin Diesel’s using his Facebook page to do the job. Smart move since some of the press would kill to have a readership as big as his follower’s. This week Vin Diesel has been hinting at news on the progress he and director David Twohy have been making trying to continue the ‘Chronicle Of Riddick’ saga. Here’s what he posted this past Monday to get his ‘follower’s all lathered up.

Best Movies Ever has been hearing this rumor for quite some time, but our people at Universal have been telling us that it’s doubtful it will ever happen after the extreme flop that the sequel to ‘Pitch Black‘ turned out to be. “It sounds like Diesel is using the same tactics Stallone used trying to get his ‘Rocky’ and ‘Rambo’ sequel made,” our source said. “In those cases, his last film in the franchise wasn’t the stinker that ‘Chronicles Of Riddick’ turned out to be so Diesel’s got quite the uphill battle for this one.”
