Actor/director Michael Biehn is known more for his cool man supporting roles, but he’s taking his hits literally for his latest horror film ‘The Victim‘. One stunt even sent him to the hospital.
Michael Biehn has been known more for his kickass cool guys in charge in movies like Aliens & Terminator, but he’s never had a big breakout role so he’s taken to directing his own films along with starring in them. His latest ‘The Victim‘ which Biehn wrote, directed and stars in doesn’t look to be that breakout role either, but for his fans, it should be something fun. Plus, he’s got Jennifer Blanc (Dark Angel, Party of Five), Ryan Honey (General Hospital) & Danielle Harris (Hatchet II, Halloween) to play with.
Biehn even wound up in the hospital when he decided to do one of his own stunts against the advice of his stunt coordinator. The scene required for his character to be choked by a crooked cop, played by Ryan Honey. Biehn apparently told Ryan to told use a real choke-hold and actually try to cut off his air supply to make the scene seem more real, but he waited to long to give the signal which would have been a tap on the arm. You can catch the raw footage of this happening in the video below. Nothing like some method acting!
