Jon Stewart landed the interview every tv news outlet was trying to get. The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 2 star Robert Pattinson is finally breaking his silence since Kristen Stewart was found out to have cheated on him. He’s pushing Cosmopolis, but we’ll see what else Stewart gets.
David Cronenberg’s Cosmopolis will get much more press attention than it normally would after the Robert Pattinson Kristen Stewart shakeup which still has the producers of The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 2 scrambling to market the final film. In a savvy move, Pattinson is going to do his first post break-up interview with Jon Stewart after everyone from Good Morning America to Barbara Walters tried to land the actor.
Pattinson will be on Stewart’s show Monday and Good Morning America gets sloppy seconds two days later. Our Edward hasn’t been on the show since March 2012. He’s promoting Cosmopolis, David Cronenberg’s adaptation of Don DeLillo’s 2003 novel since the film hits theaters Aug. 17. Reviews have been rather decent for the film which may get a box office uptick with all the scandal of Kristen Stewart cheating with Snow White and the Huntsman director Rupert Sanders weeks ago. I think everyone can expect not much being said from the actor as Summit and the Twilight producers have clamped down on everyone involved to not talk about the end of the vampire Bella and Edward’s tragic ending.
