Best Movies Ever got the latest Tron: Legacy movie poster sent over yesterday, and it hearkens back to the original Tron poster from 1982 as you’ll see below. Jeff Bridges and Garrett Hedlund headline the sequel to the cult movie.
The above is the latest Tron: Legacy poster that Disney sent over to us at Best Movies Ever yesterday. We were busy nailing down information for the Jackass 4 story we posted earlier so here’s the latest. They’ve put out a boatload of different movie posters for Tron so they’re pinning some hope on it. We saw the Tron:Legacy trailer this past weekend at Jackass 3D, and it wasn’t all that great visually. I’m hoping that this is one of those films that should’ve been done just in 2D and call it a day, but well see December 17, 2010.
Above is the original poster for Tron back in 1982 for those of you that remember it. I mainly remember the video game moreso than the film when I was a kid. So if you’re thinking the new poster looks kinda retro, it is.
So here’s what it’s about. “Tron: Legacy” follows Sam Flynn (GARRETT HEDLUND), the tech-savvy 27-year-old son of Kevin Flynn (JEFF BRIDGES), as he looks into his father’s disappearance and finds himself pulled into the digital world of Tron where his father has been living for 25 years. Along with Kevin’s loyal confidant Quorra (OLIVIA WILDE), father and son embark on a life-and-death journey of escape across a visually-stunning cyber universe that has become far more advanced and exceedingly dangerous.
