Disney has given us another clip from ‘Tron Legacy‘ and we hear that the Tron 3 script is nearly complete. Director Joseph Kosinski’s future is still pretty cloudy though.

Walt Disney has put out yet another clip from their very big budget movie (over $170 million not including marketing costs) Tron: Legacy film which is below. As we reported last week, Tron 3 is definitely moving forward unless this one totally bombs which doesn’t look likely since response and awareness on the film are quite high. The star who was blabbing was kind enough to contact us with a big thank you for not naming names.

This clip, called ‘The Page’ refers to the scene in the movie, one that has been in the majority of the trailers, where Kevin Flynn’s old partner Alan Bradley played by Bruce Boxleitner, receives a message on his pager from Flynn’s office years after his disappearance. He then relays the message to Flynn’s son Sam, played by Garrett Hedlund. Boxleitner was in the original ‘Tron’ movie with Jeff Bridges and makes a nice return.

Best Movies Ever also found out that Disney is making Tron is a full fledged trilogy and the two of the writers of ‘Tron: Legacy’ (Lost writers/executive producers Edward Kitsis and Adam Horowitz) have been working diligently on the ‘Tron 3′ script since this past spring. Disney is pushing hard on them to have it completed before ‘Tron: Legacy’ opens December 17, 2010. Stars Garrett Hedlund and Olivia Wilde are already under contract to appear in any future Tron films which we also reported last week that Disney had already gotten them clamped down. From what we’re hearing, the future of Tron: Legacy director Joseph Kosinski isn’t looking so shiny though.
