The first ‘Three Stooges‘ movie trailer was awful so this second one focuses solely on the boys antics that made them so famous back in the day. It’ll be interesting to see if this resonates with kids or even audiences who are fans of the trio.

The trailer tries to paint ‘The Three Stooges‘ as the original ‘Jackass‘ group when it opens giving you a feeling that it’s going to be one thing and then it turns into classic Stooges antics with the same sound effects from the original ones. The Farrelly Brothers have definitely remained faithful to the original ones, but I don’t know if today’s theater audiences will be as faithful. As with ‘John Carter‘, there’s already people out there claiming that the bad press is intentionally trying to sabotage the film, but as we’ve all learned over the years, bad press doesn’t keep people out of the theaters…bad marketing ala John Carter…or just a bad movie will do that on its own.

‘The Three Stooges’ seems like a movie that’ll hit well on blu-ray dvd when people want to watch something with their grandparents or share the experience with their kids of the Stooges legacy.

Marketing on the film has been slim to none, and hopefully the actors will try to attempt some decent press interviews in respect to the original Three Stooges. They definitely deserves that much.
