‘The Dark Knight Rises‘ marketing mania continues with more posters of Christian Bale, Tom Hardy and Anne Hathaway only a day after the latest underwhelming Batman poster hit. These look much better and more Christopher Nolanish.

I’m sure someone at Warner Bros got a little talking to after the negative response (ours included) at that fiery poster which just looked thrown together with a little color. Definitely not Christopher Nolan worthy. These new ones are sets of two for Batman, Bane and Catwoman first in the dark moodyness with some heavy looking rain and debris coming down around them. We know that would be the debris of Gotham falling after Bane’s destruction fest and then the other is very snowy with that ‘Prestige‘ hue of blue color. And of course, good posters aren’t even needed for this last of Nolan’s Batman trilogy, but they’re pretty to look at.

a lot of people are saying the Dark Knight Rises is gonna be the movie of the year. What bullshit. The Hobbit has been in anticipation for about 10 years now. It's also the prequel to the most critically acclaimed trilogy ever made and is an adaptation of a remarkable best-selling book. Also, Peter Jackson is directing it, Howard Shore is doing the score. Based off the book, this film is going to epic, and could quite possibly be better than LOTR... we shall see.
