‘The Avengers’ Movie 2013 Synopsis
Continuing the epic big-screen adventures started in “Iron Man,” “The Incredible Hulk,” “Iron Man 2,” “Thor,” and “Captain America: The First Avenger,” “Marvel’s The Avengers” is the super hero team up of a lifetime. When an unexpected enemy emerges that threatens global safety and security, Nick Fury, director of the international peacekeeping agency known as S.H.I.E.L.D., finds himself in need of a team to pull the world back from the brink of disaster.

[...] It’s hard to believe that we’ll be seeing Thor, Captain America, Iron Man, the Hulk, Black Widow and Hawkeye all onscreen fighting off the baddies in one movie rather than individually like we saw this past summer (well ‘Thor’ and ‘Captain America: The First Avenger’ were worth watching!). Trent Reznor has been working overtime between ‘The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo‘, and his music works great background for this teaser trailer. Tony Stark will be the obvious funny guy in the movie, and as the trailer shows, he’s got some great lines with Bruce Banner and Steve Rogers. That’s what made ‘Thor’ so great to me with all the great action but the subtle humor in between all the intensity. ‘The Avengers’ will provide plenty of both in large doses, and it’ll be interesting to see what the full trailer winds up looking like. After seeing all the set shots and spy vids, it’s great to see everything put together in a way that exceeds your expectations. Just from this teaser alone, Whedon has set the bar very high in a summer that will feature the final ‘Batman’ movie in Chris Nolan’s trilogy.
