With the 2012 London Olympic Games winding down, Ryan Lochte has jumped headfirst into the Hollywood fray with a Dickensonian (thus the Dickey!) parody skit with Patrick Stewart and Simon Pegg. Not bad for his first acting gig!

AMC’s computer problems made Megamind look like it was underperforming this weekend but it hit Number One with Due Date at Number Two and Tyler Perry’s critically reviled For Colored Girls Hitting Number Three was not as successful as his previous films.

I had wrongfully assumed Megamind was just going to be another superhero spoof, but Brad Pitt and Will Ferrell add much more to this smart animated film.

Best movies ever was expecting to see Priest with Paul Bettany this year but Screen Gems did some shuffling around and now don’t expect to see it until May 2011 unless of course it goes to shelf hell like so many films.

Best comedy movies ever just became aware of The Virginity Hit when we went to check out The Last Exorcism which was odd that they paired those two up. It looks like a updated version of The Last American Version and Will Ferrell and his parter Adam McKay are behind it from their site Funny or Die.

Best comedy movies ever will be checking The Other Guys this weekend along with The Girl Who Played With Fire. Nice juxtaposition with Mark Wahlberg and Will Ferrell.
