Naturally, once word hit that Shakira and Usher wouldn’t be returning to Season 5 of The Voice with Adam Levine and Blake Shelton, reports hit making it sound like they were gone for good. One even tried to make Usher sound like a bit of an ass.

Fans were thrilled by news of Shakira‘s pregnancy this week. Doctors, however, are scrambling to prepare for the worst case of shaken baby syndrome in recorded history.

Adam Levine and Blake Shelton are sticking to The Voice for another two seasons while Cee Lo Green and Christina Aguilera take a small break next season. Shakira and Usher will fill their red seats next spring.

Simon Cowell was howling to the press when NBC’s The Voice added three nights to their premiere week which coincided with his X Factor USA premiere night with the new judging panel including Britney Spears and Demi Lovato. The Voice was the victor Wednesday night, but both saw ratings get diluted.
