I’ve definitely found this to be an interesting summer for movies. Not earth shattering by any means, but not a total dud. Toy Story 3 and Inception were the highlights for us at best movies ever, and I think they were for most people. Toy Story 3 has made over 400 billion dollars worldwide with Inception closing in at near 300 billion. We won’t forget Avatar either, but that’s in it’s own class as its maker James Cameron.
I can’t believe that 2010 is already more than halfway over and we’re just now getting into the Academy Award push season along with the August dumping grounds for movies like Takers and others. Best horror movies ever did go back to check out The Last Exorcism again this past weekend since we were pretty harsh on it and we don’t really like Eli Roth. So we went unbiased this time, not Eli Roth dartboards or anything and The Last Exorcism sat a little better with us this time around. It still starts out with a great premise and goes to hell, but not as bad as we originally felt.
Best action movies ever wasn’t a big fan of Takers but we give it the kudos for coming in second place this weekend at the box office. The only thing that kept it out of first place was Eli Roths The Last Exorcism played on more screens, otherwise Chris Brown could rejoice even more.
