In a surprise move, Comic-Con International has announced that they will add comic books and comic book culture to their annual convention in San Diego, which kicks off tonight.

With the box office expectations of Christopher Nolan’s final film in the Batman franchise ‘The Dark Knight Rises’, naturally parody trailers will crop up, and here’s some rather clever ones including bringing the 1960′s squeaky Robin into the mix.

Axel Braun continues his porn parody fun with Vivid Entertainment and his latest ‘The Dark Knight XXX: A Porn Parody’ is coming a littler earlier than expected beating off ‘The Dark Knight Rises’ opening by a couple weeks.

Even though we’ve know it was so, Christopher Nolan made it official that he won’t be involved in another ‘Batman’ reboot or with the ‘Justice League’ movie that got a jump start after the box office bonanza that was ‘The Avengers’. Nolan’s now focusing keeping Zack Snyder on track for ‘Man Of Steel’.

‘The Dark Knight Rises’ is coming down the pike really fast and the latest tv spot shows some sweet Batman/Catwoman chemistry, plus we finally get to see Bane’s massive weapon he’s been hiding. A returning character will also make a presence in this final Chris Nolan trilogy, who?

After the teaser poster and first poster for ‘The Dark Knight Rises’ expectations are high, so when we saw the latest one with Batman’s Christian Bale against a flaming Gotham, it feels a little thrown together.

‘The Dark Knight Rises’ marketing did a smart one in mixing in a cool tv spot during the NBA Playoffs and splicing scenes in with the players making quite the effect. Christopher Nolan’s last of the Batman franchise wants to rival ‘The Avengers’ continued box office record breaking dominance.

Some new ‘The Dark Knight Rises’ images have hit, and a couple are very close up on Tom Hardy’s Bane looking either surprised or concerned or maybe just with some awe at his own master destructive work.
