Sony Pictures made it official that they’ve bought up Morgan Spurlock’s ‘Greatest Movie Ever Sold‘ documentary that will hit theaters April 2011. This is one of the first buys at Sundance.

This was a no brainer for us when we reported that Sony Pictures Classics was buying Morgan Spurlock’s latest documentary ‘Greatest Movie Ever Sold‘. Sony was trying to grab the film before it made it’s world premiere at the Sundance Film Festival, and they won.

In addition to directing, Spurlock wrote the movie with Jeremy Chilnik. It was produced by Spurlock, Chilnik and Abbie Hurewitz through Spurlock’s production company, Warrior Poets, alongside Snoot Entertainment producers Keith Calder and Jessica Wu.

@The1Kidneythief How to deal with the minority of them that are extremists? Which extremists? which minority? Where are them? Who are them? Well, the American government and its military has been feeding simplistic answers to these questions from the very get-go, so the discussion goes on and on. I think that perhaps technology might provide an answer. Like , point a machine to people. If this machine is able to detect the devices, it might provide security agents with time to save lives.
