James Bond’s ‘Skyfall‘ got quite a splashy tv spot during Danny Boyle’s astounding 2012 London Olympic Games Opening Ceremony. This spot felt like Daniel Craig’s 007 was back for intense action and making up for the last one.

Surprisingly, the new James Bond Skyfall IMAX trailer hasn’t gone online yet as it seems to be exclusively showing with The Dark Knight Rises, but this action packed TV Spot for the Daniel Craig film aired during the 2012 London Olympic Games Opening Ceremony last night. So if you mixed that very diverse spectacle, here it is below.

In last night’s ceremony, Craig’s James Bond brought this clip with him to the event so it could be aired, and the marketing for Skyfall has been very smart and very well planned out so far. There’s been a few leaks, but they’ve been able to surprisingly keep a lid on much of the film’s plot. What we do know is that Bond will be dealing with his parent’s death in this one and Skyfall is the estate where he grew up on which will be going up in flames in one of the most expensive stunts in the 007 film history. We’ve been lucky enough to have our people over in the UK keep us up to date on the film so we’ve done a ton of coverage already. As you’ll see in the spot, they’ve not overdone it with explosions and action, but it lets you know what to expect. I’ve been looking forward to this, and this along with the IMAX trailer that was shown at Comic Con 2012 really makes me want to see it.
