I personally know how temperamental Glee fans can be, and Ryan Murphy got many Gleeks worked up after he released some new images for the upcoming Season 4, plus Gloria Estafan is back for a song with daughter Santana since she didn’t sing last time around.

Glee fans are a very fervent bunch and Ryan Murphy also knows how quickly they can react to things that they either don’t approve of or feel that needs some explaining. Usually Murphy just Tweets out new images or news without saying much, but when the Gleeks get heated up and tweeting heavily, he knows when to step in and calm them down. This happened late yesterday when he released a new batch of Glee Season 4 images, but one was missing both Quinn (Dianna Agron) and Emma (Jayma Mays). No one really said anything about poor Emma’s absence, but Quinn kicked up a little firestorm forcing Murphy to Tweet this out. When he says ‘please relax’ that means a lot.
Gleeks, please relax.Dianna is still on the show. We love her and have great plans for Quinn.

He didn’t get any more specific, but this is one time Gleeks had a reason to protest (and they will do that at the turn of a dime) since last season ended with Quinn heading off to Yale, but it you look at that sign, there’s not mention of New Haven. Papa Murphy did tell the press that all the graduating seniors would be back for Season 4 as regulars, but I’m hearing different. Quinn’s story was wrapped up pretty well last season plus the fact that while the Glee cast has been furiously working, Agron has been missing from any shots…plus if you look at her Twitter account, she’s been in Europe this month. Three of our sources say she won’t be a regular and might pop in for a cameo role, but before all you Gleeks start screaming again, we’ll have to see. I don’t have this firm like the Kurt and Blaine (Klaine), Brittany and Santana (Brittana) storyline. Murphy has changed his mind before, and as we know with any tv show, things change. Simple as that, and with such a enormous cast how much room is there actually for Quinn?

Good new, Gloria Estefan will return for this season as Santana’s (Naya Rivera) amazing mom, and they will finally get to do a great duo number. Last season Estefan’s number non-existent much to the surprise of fans and myself. This time they’re getting a real powerhouse number that will more than make up for not getting even a hum from the singer last time around. Estefan mentioned that she really hoped they could revisit the storyline with Santana and her Abuela. This does happen in the real world where family turns on someone for just being gay or lesbian, but in the world of Glee these issues usually wind up with an uplifting resolution.
Now, I just want to know what’s going to happen to Emma, and where are all those Gleeks to support her and ask Papa Murphy?
