Ryan Lochte is ready to work those runways at New York City’s Fashion Week, and he talks about liking President Obama and filming 30 Rock with Tina Fey and Alec Baldwin.

Ryan Lochte’s not letting The Bachelor dismissing him from their upcoming season as he’s just finished filming his guest spot on Tina Fey’s 30 Rock and has been sashaying all around Fashion Week in New York City as an E! Correspondent. As many publications have stated, he won’t be winning any Edward R. Morrow awards, but our own Jackie Warner was at Fashion Week and said she didn’t realize how flamboyant the little swimming phenom actually was. Seems that when he talks fashion, his eyes light up bright and he just gets more into discussing all those male models he was checking out with his friends in the front row at the Joseph Abboud show. You can see how intently he’s watching them in the shots above.
I’m a bit surprised that his people haven’t been putting out shots of him training for the 2016 Rio Olympics since after the big Las Vegas pink party, the Olympic swimmer said he was dying to get back to his water sports. But then he’s in NYC and there’s plenty of places for those water sports there! He was working the press and had a few things to say about the upcoming 2012 election even though he’s missed either party’s conventions. The young man has had his own parties to deal with so there’s not been a lot of time for the news. Fashion news, he’ll make plenty of time for though!

“I’ve been going non-stop left and right,” said the Olympic swimmer, who was at New York Fashion Week. “I haven’t had time to watch the news. I’ve got to catch up on that. But, you know, Obama did great the past four years, so I’m kind of more leaning towards him. Jeah!”

E! commented that they’ve not made a reality show deal with the swimmer, but Lochte stated that he’s already got his own reality show going plus the fact that rather than moving to Los Angeles, he’s now thinking about a movie to New York City instead. “When everyone thinks about fashion they think about New York. Moving here is definitely something I’m considering. I’ve been getting so many offers. I’m going to do my own reality-TV show. It’ll follow my life and training and putting out my design line.”

Lochte had a few things to say about his experience filming 30 Rock. Unlike 90210, they didn’t have the press around to film his performance.
Our sources over there said, “We know Ryan’s not known for his acting ability, so we were able to give him a role that fit him perfectly. He doesn’t need to speak, just take off his shirt and that makes the fans happy.”
“It was so much fun. Alec Baldwin is so funny. He just makes the whole set feel at ease. I had lines. So I just had to know my lines, know what to do, know how my facial expressions should’ve been. It is stressful. After the first two takes, I picked it up and was just like, “keep it going.”

Lochte has been a longtime attendee at Fashion Week, but now that’s he become famous, it’s much harder for his to go anywhere without being spotted. Making a move to New York City would actually be smart since you definitely have more anonymity in that city than Los Angeles. You can also jump more into a private life with more privacy too, and water sports are a big activity there since he loves them along with his fashion!
