Ryan Lochte has proven once again that when it comes to his fashionista side, 90210 and Gossip Girl, he’s right on the mark and can spot a fake Prada from a mile away, but when it comes to sports outside of swimming, he’s not so on the mark. Unless it’s Mark Jacobs.

Ryan Lochte made his tv debut this month on Tina Fey’s 30 Rock playing a sex idiot, and Monday night, he’ll play himself again on 90210, but his most memorable appearance seems to have been when he obviously played himself on ESPN’s College Gameday last week. Like with any of his roles, things seem to go okay until he begins speaking about things not fashion or swim related. He’s also learning that it’s time to seriously get back to training as his spotlight time has more than worn out its welcome.
Proudly displaying a Lochte Nation t-shirt, the University of Florida alum and die-hard Gators fan made some bold predictions for the weekend’s college football games, including an outside-the-box pick for LSU’s matchup against Texas A&M. “I think they’re gonna end their six-game losing streak in the SEC, so I’m gonna have to go with Auburn,” Lochte predicted of the game where Auburn wasn’t even playing.
But thankfully, GameDay host Chris Fowler quickly jumped in to steer the swimmer in the right direction. Lochte corrected himself, going with the much more likely prediction of LSU.
This of course brought out some Tweets.
Did Ryan Lochte just pick Auburn to win the LSU-Texas A&M game? Who says no one believes in Chizik?

Lochte did a stint covering Fashion Week in New York, and man was he on top of everything and not one flub. This is one guy that knows whatever shoe is on a woman’s foot and he can spot a Prada a mile away. It’ll be interesting to see how his reality show works out with talking fashion with his boys while they get sweaty pumping and working out their best Speedo looks together. Until then, hopefully he’s realizing that it’s time to focus on the 2016 Rio Olympics so he can let fans forget all this selling out stuff he’s done and remember that he was originally an athlete. Even I’ve begun to forget that he’s more than just a fashionista in the making.
