‘RoboCop’ Remake Poster & Images Land Rather Hard For Fans

Robocop might have a killer cast lineup for the remake, but it’s plagued by fanboys who are following this one pretty closely. The latest images of the suit design have come out and response isn’t too kind either.

Robocop is under some major fanboy scrutiny, and it started with Drew McWeeny when he reviewed an early draft of the script. For him, it gave him a ‘nosebleed’ and made him ‘forget his name’. Basically he felt that Robocop, originally played by Peter Weller was being turned into a Transformer…and we saw how well that worked for Battleship!

ComingSoon got their hands on two shots from the set which shows the outfit that will remind many of The Dark Knight or as McWeeny said on Twitter, ‘an 80′s toy’.  We’ll see how this one turns out, but they know the fans are watching very closely as this is set for August 2013 release.

I don't care what the title of this atrocity is, it's not ROBOCOP. And BTW, I saw it for the first time when I was 11 on VHS. What's next? A Blade Runner reboot. Ugh...
