Everyone knew she was coming back to ‘The Real Housewives Of Atlanta‘ for season 5, but Kim Zolciak felt the need to tweet this news anyway, but as we told you, Kenya Moore is now coyly confirming that she’s one of the two new housewives to hit that peach.
I guess with all the Kenya Moore news swirling, Kim Zolciak was looking for her own ‘Real Housewives Of Atlanta‘ attention so she let everyone know she’s back even though it feels like she’s still here since her low rated ‘Don’t Be Tardy For the Wedding‘ with now husband Kroy Biermann is still airing. 1.5 million viewers isn’t bad, and we know fired/quit Sheree Whitfield wouldn’t have pulled 1 percent of those viewers, but we’ve heard that Bravo isn’t looking to do any other specials with Zolciak and company right now.
They’re wishing they could do something with NeNe Leakes who’s career is just catapulting into the tv stratosphere right now. Our source over at the network said, “The Bravo execs are kicking themselves for not locking NeNe into some kind of show for the network before her career took off with Celebrity Apprentice and Glee. We’re still crossing our fingers that we can find a good match for her and Gregg.” Yes, I know…when that name slipped out, I was rather shocked since NeNe and ex-hubby were just seen in Miami on the beach together looking like the old married couple of yesteryear. So, we shall see what Bravo could cook up for the two of them.
So now for Ms Kenya Moore who’s recently relocated to Atlanta for the show. She’s originally from Michigan and most recently lived in Aurora, Colorado, but for now…and at least while she’s on the show, she’ll be a Georgia peach. She’s playing it cute since it’s obvious everyone knows, so she had this to say in a recent interview. “I can say that it’s an already established franchise where I’m back and forth between Atlanta and L.A….primarily Atlanta. Wink, wink!” As we reported earlier this week, our good source at the cabler filled us in that not everyone on ‘Real Housewives Of Atlanta’ is so happy with her arrival. “Cynthia was pushing for Marlo Hampton since everyone hated her, but when she found out about Kenya, she lost that nice demeanor everyone thinks she has. For here, there’s only room for one model on the show, and it’s obvious there’s going to be some tension between them. But you know Cynthia, it’ll be all passive aggressive on her part. Kenya doens’t take any crap so expect to see some fireworks.” If that happens, at least it’ll take some attention off Cynthia and that odd seeming marriage she has with Peter. I’ve seen so many friends in marriages like that who just seem miserable but force themselves to stick it out.
From the sound of our people at Bravo, Season 5 will be a nice change as they’ve been pretty vocal about jumping with glee for Sheree Whitfield’s absence. They’ve already begun shooting the show, and it sounds like they’re pushing it up to do back to back like ‘The Real Housewives Of New Jersey‘. And with Theresa on ‘Celebrity Apprentice’ this season, it looks like having ‘Real Housewives’ might become a thing for Donald Trump.
