What a day it’s been for Ridley Scott’s ‘Prometheus‘! The latest full trailer has hit and really ties into the previous trailers plus there’s some great new images to check out and Noomi Rapace sporting those white Jockey’s!
You’ve got to give it to Ridley Scott as he knows how to give out small doses of his latest film ‘Prometheus‘ for months and then really let you have it all in one day like he did at Wonder Con. It started with an IMAX teaser trailer, a cool commercial showing Fassbinder the android, and then a Q&A with Michael Fassbinder and Charlize Theron to finish off with the big full trailer that really builds on the others without giving away too much.
Scott has insisted that ‘Prometheus’ isn’t a prequel to ‘Alien‘, but you can tell it certainly shares it’s DNA, especially when Michael Fassbinder reminds you of Ash from ‘Alien’. Some may argue that the trailer doesn’t look so ‘Alien’, but I have to disagree as any fan can tell it most certainly does. Noomi Rapace can surely shed the Elizabeth Salander image some of us may still have of her with this role.

For anyone who got to watch the trailer and then see Ridley Scott be rather coy about the movie, you could feel everyone wanting more which is a great thing for a movie nowadays. Especially when so many give away everything hoping to attract all demographics, but Scott didn’t say a whole lot about the genesis of the film and spoke more about how the genre has changed since when he started.
