Peter Jackson’s journey to get ‘The Hobbit‘ made has resembled Frodo and Sam’s journey with the ring, but 2010 finally brought a close to his battle. Now he gets to finally start making it next month.
2010 was a very trying year for Peter Jackson as he nearly watched his beloved passion project ‘The Hobbit’ become trapped in Middle Earth. Luck was on his side as MGM got their stuff together finally to salvage the film along with their James Bond franchise, but after all the fighting, is Peter Jackson ready to get going next month to shoot the massive big budget film? Our great sources on the film have told us that’s he been going strong pre-production before another mishap can occur.
Even though it’s not been made ‘official’ with a press release, we already know that Orlando Bloom and Ian McKellen are back onboard along with Andy Serkis. We’ve been told there’ll be a few more big names coming back from ‘Lord Of the Rings’ which isn’t such a surprise. Fans will be anticipating another ‘Lord Of the Rings’ style film from Jackson with ‘The Hobbit’ and he will make sure not to disappoint, especially since his ‘The Lovely Bones’ tanked rather quickly last year.
