Peter Berg’s ‘Battleship’ Shows Some International Poster Flair

Every since the ‘Friday Night Lights‘ movie, I’ve really liked Peter Berg, but ‘Battleship‘ is definitely looking like quite the half baked mess from what’s been put out. Below are some international character posters which look rather uninspired.

I still think Peter Berg does so much better directing the smaller type films like ‘Friday Night Lights‘, and I’m so glad that he’s making that film again based off the tv show based off his film from the book by his cousin. If this one doesn’t do well, that could be two down for Taylor Kitsch since ‘John Carter’s‘ hopes for big box office aren’t looking so positive. Oddly enough, this one looks like it could pull in more than ‘John Carter‘, and the way that Disney is getting other movie geek sites to hold ‘special screenings’ tells the tale of desperation.

This one does look crazy enough to warrant people checking it out to see how over the top it can be. Battleship certainly would have been way more interesting if there’d been some ‘Transformer’ looking aliens in it rather than spending all that time setting up your ships.
