paranormal witness renewed for syfy season 3

SyFy has renewed it’s shockingly creey series Paranormal Witness for a third season and a big twenty episodes. This is the only show that has creeped me out nearly every episode! Latest clips below to check out.

The docuseries Paranormal Witness truly deserved a bigger season on SyFy, and thankfully we’ll get twenty episodes in Season 3. This was one of those shows that I stumbled on late on night, and after getting really creeped out, I had to see all of them. Season 2 has only had four episodes, and three of them really got under my skin. I’ve watched those celebrity paranormal experiences which are so dull, so I was expecting the same.

What a difference this show is. It’s based on true stories, but even if it wasn’t, this thing would stand on its own just as a horror series for tv. American Horror Story Season 1 could’ve learned a lot from this one. Anyone who’s ever had that odd experience during childhood or even in adulthood will easily relate and just feel your skin crawl while others who love horror will truly enjoy this one. It’s really that good.

This season they ran an indepth piece on the Dibbuk Box which was an ebay phenomenon and then Sam Raimi made it even more famous with the Possession movie in theaters now. What sounds like a hokey story to the average person really gets good treatment by this show. The reenactments are really well done, but they also have the actual people interviewed talking about their experience and some of the freakier episodes use video and photographs taken by the people.

Paranormal Witness is like the creepiness of Paranormal Activity squared. Any horror fan will love this one, whether you believe the reality of the stories or not, and I dare you to find fault in either of the two season. It airs on SyFy on Wednesday nights, and below is a preview clip of this week’s episode The Apartment…which won’t have Shirley Maclaine in it.

Oh, man. You didn't know? It's true. Won the lottery? ghosts. Car accident? ghosts. Skid marked undies? ghosts. Seriously, though. Not everyone who claims to have seen a ghost is mentally ill, or unbalanced. I am not saying you are wrong either. We have so little an idea of the world around us. Science has yet to create a theory of everything, and until such a time as it does it we need to keep an open mind. I know two very rational people who claim to have seen ghosts. I trust them.

haha, yeah you're right. totally agree. At least with shows like these they don't try and pass off evidence as real, they're just telling a spooky story, no different to watchin a movie really.

I just watch these cause they are great storytelling, always in the dark too. Its better than the crap shows like Ghost Huners, why the hell would I wanna watch people walking around in the dark to hear noises for?

Its kinda pointless discussing reenactments, it isn't real and someone telling you what they saw, felt or heard is just their account. It aint evidence and this is just a TV show to give folks a scare before bedtime, all just telling stories. I still watch em though cos they're fun.

Well, I have to say "almost everytime" because sometimes we can't explain the event, but I don't think that answer is ghosts just because I don't know. It's like if you don't know why the freezer is cold and can't explain it, you immediately say "GHOSTS!". I don't think ghosts are the answer to anything, because I've not found any evidence for them. People who believe very strongly and are convinced they have met ghosts are to me not crazy. They've just interpret something completely wrongly.

Okay, I gotta say, in the "Lost Girl," the mom is an idiot. She is going to stop and help a girl on the road whom they have just drove past miles ago. I mean, I feel very sorry for the daughter and the exchange student in the back.

Lucid dreaming in milder cases, from what I was told, leaves a person in a state of half-awareness. In that sense people like my brother and myself are often aware we're dreaming to an extent, but not entirely to the point of exerting full control. I don't pretend to be an expert; however, I'm just repeating what we've been told by specialists. Combined with sleep paralysis there have been times when I'm caught between REM state and awareness and having dreams while my body refuses to move. XD
