Best movies ever was pretty confused when we first saw the trailer for Sinbad The Fifth Voyage, and afterward was informed that is was supposed to look kinda funky in an ode to Ray Harryhausen’s Dynamation.
Paramount Pictures has just sent over their trailer for the latest Coen Brothers movie True Grit to best movies ever. This has got a killer cast with Jeff Bridges, Matt Damon and Josh Brolin.
I have oddly fond memories of I Spit On Your Grave aka Day Of The Woman. This was the first movie where a bunch of us from high school snuck into the local drive in (hiding in the trunck; so original, I know!) and just being blown away by the extreme nature of the film.
Best horror movie ever wanted to check out Ryan Reynolds again in Buried to make sure Buried stood up to a second look. Something we at best horror movies ever have been doing more since sometimes we can be influenced by a good day, a bad day or a rowdy audience. Buried is just as good on the second look like The Town.
Best movies ever found this weekend’s box office interesting without much surprise. Oliver Stone had his best opening numbers ever with Wall Street 2, but the anticipated sequel (23 years later) didn’t live up to Fox and Hollywood’s expectations. Ben Affleck’s The Town was solid for it’s second weekend.
I got to check out Legend Of The Guardians and it definitely was a Zack Snyder film. Guardians definitely stayed true to the book and you could see flashes of 300, without all the bloodshed, when those owls suited up for battle.
Best horror movies ever was surprised that I Spit On Your Grave aka Day Of The Woman was re-banned in Ireland with the re-release of the controversial dvd. We’ll see if Ireland lets the upcoming remake into their country when it opens October 8, 2010.
We know at best movies ever, we can be somewhat twisted, but even the average bear can see the double entendre of the upcoming Yogi Bear 3D movie poster starring Anna Faris, Justin Timberlake and Dan Akyroyd (working again finally!).
