Yup, the 2012 London Olympic Games are finished today, but Cockneys Vs Zombies found a clever way to use them for a fun tv spot in one of the more memorable moments from the red band trailer. Both are below, along with several hi-res images from the film that oddly still doesn’t have a US release date. This would easily do well here in North America, but we do know how much fun the distribution process can be for a film. Making a movie is hard enough, but for indie films that’s the easy part!
Above is the newest poster for the film that hits for all you lucky UK dwellers at the end of this month. The red band trailer sold me already, and I love that even though it owes a lot to Shaun Of the Dead, it doesn’t do retreads of the same scenes thankfully. Many films do this calling it ‘homage’, Cockneys Vs Zombies definitely stands on its own, and US distributors get on the ball for this one. Dimension Films, you all got another cash infusion so this is right up your alley to have a good film on your slate again!
