
Lance Armstrong swears he didn’t use steroids and any other illegal enhancement drugs to win all those Tour de France medals, but Nike and several other major sponsors have chosen to believe intensive medical reports showing otherwise. Nike may have dumped Armstrong, but they’re getting the last tread mileage out of him with three last revealing advertisement.
Nike has severed ties with cyclist Lance Armstrong, citing insurmountable evidence that he participated in doping and misled the company about those activities for more than a decade.
The clothing and footwear company said Wednesday that it was terminating Armstrong’s contract “with great sadness.”
“Nike does not condone the use of illegal performance enhancing drugs in any manner,” it said in a statement. They concluded that they will be running a few final exit ads getting their final money’s worth from the disgraced biker.
