‘Real Housewives Of Atlanta‘ NeNe Leakes is still on a career high now that ‘Glee’s’ Ryan Murphy got the greenlight from NBC for their show “The New Normal“, and it looks like her personal life might be taking a step back after she and ex hubby Gregg took a Miami vacation together.

Sheree Whitfield must be clenching that jaw now that ‘Real Housewives Of Atlanta’ NeNe Leakes has shows that her turn on ‘Celebrity Apprentice’ and ‘Glee’ was no fluke now that Ryan Murphy just got the green light for a season pickup of his latest ‘The New Normal’. Leakes will have a recurring role on that show which “revolves around a blended family of a gay couple (Andrew Rannells, Justin Bartha) and the woman (Georgia King) who becomes a surrogate for them as they grow their family.” Ellen Barkin will star and our NeNe will have a very heavily recurring role in this one, plus we’ve heard that she’ll have some guest spots on next season’s ‘Glee‘ plus a possible appearance on Murphy’s other hit show on FX, ‘American Horror Story‘. She’s already on for Season 5 of ‘Real Housewives Of Atlanta’ so girl gonna be loading up her frequent flyer miles! Last year ‘Glee’s’ Darren Criss was the chosen one for Murphy and this year it’s all about NeNe Leakes. If you recall Murphy does have a thing for those reality show girls and was a huge fan of ‘I Love New York’ star Tiffany “New York” Pollard and gave her a role on his ‘Nip/Tuck‘ playing herself.

Now for the other side of NeNe’s life. We reported back in April that Leakes and then husband Gregg had officially gotten divorced since many thought it was just a big play to keep ratings going for her ‘Real Housewives Of Atlanta’. But Ms. Leakes, unlike Sheree Whitfield doesn’t need to manufacture plotlines to keep us all interested in her life. Court records in Georgia showed the two had gotten officially divorced in 2011, but it’s always been obvious the two have a very special bond and friendship. Then this weekend the two were spotted in Miami on the beach very cozy and happy like the old days. I say good on them if they can rekindle what they had since the two definitely are good together.
