More clips from the teen hitgirl actioner ‘Hanna‘ hit today from director Joe Wright. The look of these keeps reminding me of Natalie Portman in ‘The Professional’.
You always know when a film’s getting ready to hit theaters when clips, images and everything start getting hurled online and into our e-mail box in a mad rush. At least ‘Hanna’ looks pretty cool, and it’s got two ‘Hobbit’s’ in it with Saoirse Ronan and Cate Blanchett.
Raised by her father (Eric Bana of Star Trek), an ex-CIA man, in the wilds of Finland, Hanna’s upbringing and training have been one and the same, all geared to making her the perfect assassin. The turning point in her adolescence is a sharp one; sent into the world by her father on a mission, Hanna journeys stealthily across Europe while eluding agents dispatched after her by a ruthless intelligence operative with secrets of her own (Academy Award winner Cate Blanchett). As she nears her ultimate target, Hanna faces startling revelations about her existence and unexpected questions about her humanity.
Starring:Saoirse Ronan, Eric Bana, Cate Blanchett, Tom Hollander, Olivia Williams, Jason Flemyng. Directed by Joe Wright

@briantravelman As refreshingly sexist as that comment was, I would like to point out the fact that you think the idea of a female assassin is only just more believable than a child assassin, and that's why it should be basis for a movie. Why should she annoy you? Just because she's a strong female character who isn't over the age of 25? Is that so incomprehensible to you? I bet if this film was about a child assassin who's male it wouldn't have bothered you.
So from us women, gee thanks.
