Usually a movie has worn out its marketing welcome by now, but not so with ‘The Avengers‘ as we’re all still excited to see this one and how Joss Whedon will pull off this action, especially after seeing his ‘Cabin In the Woods‘ which defied all negative expectations by many. ‘Cabin In the Woods’ definitely will surprise many horror geeks in a good way, and seeing how he was able to spin a tiring genre makes me all the more excited to see what he can do with so many superheroes vying for attention.

Thanks Dash Bad horse for the Ant Man reply. This movie will be epic, though I understand the studio's timeline and they have committed to an Avengers movie for a few years now. I don't blame them for give the masses what they want. What else do we expect?

@falconwolve1978 man I don't care how much money a movie makes thats not what makes it good All I want is for this movie to make a profit so they will keep making them that is my only expectation! I know the movies going to be good Look at that cast and Joss "astonishing x-men, firefly" weadon directing it! I'm set I think the new Spidey looks Killer and yes I'm Guilty of wanting to see G.I. joe 2 but hey bruce willis is in it and that dub step mix of 7 nation army makes that trailer rock!

the only competition that this movie will have is dark knight rises and possibly g.i. joe retaliation. piranha 3dd is a possibility as well. do u agree with me that if avengers doesn't gross a billion it is a bust?
