Peter Jackson’s Hobbit journey has been nearly as epic as the story, but now with it being turned into a trilogy new stunning images are popping up from Middle Earth. Check them out below.

All that’s left for Peter Jackson after his next Hobbit: There and Back Again trilogy will be the Godzilla remake that’s been rumored for years. I loved what he did for King Kong, so I’m curious to see what he could do for the big green lizard that’s not gotten the best big screen adaptations.
After all the stops on this film, it’s hard to believe that it’ll be hitting theaters in just a few months, and I can’t wait to see the full thing in 48 frames per second. It sounds like it’ll be tough finding a theater that’s showing it that way, but I found it rather stunning at Cinemacon. Having it in three films will also get audiences adjusted to this very new format. It had that feeling you had when you first got your big HDTV and felt like the people could just crawl right out of your tv.

Although their goal lies to the East and the wastelands of the Lonely Mountain first they must escape the goblin tunnels, where Bilbo meets the creature that will change his life forever … Gollum.
Here, alone with Gollum, on the shores of an underground lake, the unassuming Bilbo Baggins not only discovers depths of guile and courage that surprise even him, he also gains possession of Gollum’s “precious” ring that holds unexpected and useful qualities … A simple, gold ring that is tied to the fate of all Middle-earth in ways Bilbo cannot begin to know.
