‘Magic Mike’ Teases Channing Tatum & Matthew McConaughey

Finally, Channing Tatum’s male stripper opus ‘Magic Mike‘ has a teaser trailer to literally tease fans into a frenzy to see more of the star along with Matthew McConaughy, Matt Bomer and Joe Manganiello.

We were wondering when the teaser trailer would hit for Stephen Soderbergh’s ‘Magic Mike’ where Channing Tatum plays a version of himself from his early Florida stripper years. This is that one film where you pretty much know what you’re getting, but many of us are curious to see what magic the ‘Eric Brockovich‘ director will pull from Channing Tatum’s ‘Mike’.

It’s an amazing cast for this type of film that hasn’t really been done for the big screen with men so expect to see a fun drunken turnout from that ‘Waiting To Exhale‘ crowd. The last time I remember a film like this was when Gregory Harrison did ‘For Ladies Only‘ way back in the 80′s on one of the network shows which was followed closely by Jon-Erik Hexum’s ‘Making Of A Male Model‘. I’m pretty sure ‘Magic Mike’ will be quite a bit better with some funny lines.

The teaser is less than 20 seconds, but it packs plenty of beef and funny lines in that tight package. Tatum delivers one that hits it right on the head. “You don’t want to know what I have to do for 20′s.” It lets us know that this’ll be a funny film with lots of beefy male acrobatics tossed in with stripping down and off…but Tatum assures that there’ll be no frontal nudity. I’m sure that’ll make those straight boys way more comfortable to go check out it now with their ‘buds’.

Magic Mike Movie Synopsis

Set in the world of male strippers, “Magic Mike” is directed by Steven Soderbergh and stars Channing Tatum (“Dear John,” “Step Up”) in a story inspired by his real life. The film follows Mike (Tatum) as he takes a young dancer called The Kid (Pettyfer) under his wing and schools him in the fine arts of partying, picking up women, and making easy money.
