Channing Tatum Gives More Of His ‘Magic Mike’ To Matt Bomer

Steven Soderbergh and Channing Tatum’s opus to male stripping ‘Magic Mike‘ hasn’t revealed much since January, but here’s a couple new images to check out featuring Matt Bomer, Joe Manganiello and Adam Rodriguez who seems rather out of place amonst those men.

‘Magic Mike‘ is that Channing Tatum film that many are snickering at, but for some reason I think it will wind up doing better business as it’s got a great time of year release plus it’s got that cast that women and many men will want to check out. It’ll be hard to write this off as a male version of ‘Showgirls‘ since Stephen Soderbergh is directing so it’ll be more ‘arty’…which is a good enough excuse to see a movie with some male nudity (no frontal though as we’ve all been warned). There’s only two new images, but our Miss Sashay painstakingly made us some better close up for you all to check out better as you can see above and below. As would be expected, Tatum overpowers the main shot while his fellow cast do their thing behind him. Below is Matt Bomer, and oddly absent is Alex Pettyfer who is mentored by Tatum’s own Magical Mike. Frankly, I think most readers are rather happy with these choices though.

Surprisingly, everyone’s favorite werewolf from ‘True Blood’, Joe Manganiello is hidden in the shadows, but with his character name of Big Dick Richey, I’m sure he’s feeling rather secure. I’m sure after this film, many will be taking a much closer look at his ‘True Blood’ ‘arty’ scenes though. Matt Bomer (below) plays ‘Ken‘ and I’m sure that would be his close resemblance of that particular doll.

‘Magic Mike’ is based loosely around Tatum’s early years as a stripper which Soderbergh learned about when they worked on another film project. It’s being billed as ‘coming of age’ film which is appropriate enough for a film about male stripping.

Set in the world of male strippers, “Magic Mike” is directed by Steven Soderbergh and stars Channing Tatum (“Dear John,” “Step Up”) in a story inspired by his real life. The film follows Mike (Tatum) as he takes a young dancer called The Kid (Pettyfer) under his wing and schools him in the fine arts of partying, picking up women, and making easy money.

who cares if he's a great actor? We've got a lot of great actors who look like regular guys. Sometimes us girls just want to see a guy who doesn't necessarily look like the guy next door (if you know what I mean....) C.T. is an absolutely beautiful man, not a "pretty boy" and that's a rare commodity, even in Hollywood.

Why ya hating on this kid, man. He is not even that bad. He decent at best. The boy was fucking hilarious in 21 jump street. You know why he is getting cast in movie? Because whether you like it or not he brings in the movie. Brother has 2 fucking grossing movie this year over 120 million. You bet he will have a 3rd one with GI JOE 2 even though he might not be in it as much. Magic mike has like 5 million budget which im sure they will get back. I guess he like him because he is nice. I met him once NY and he gave my girlfriend and autograph and took pictures with us. He was talking to me like if we knew other for ages. I respect him for that. kinda felt bad i talked sh8t about him too.

He's my favorite actor not just because he is extremely attractive, but also because he is charming, funny, a good actor, & a sweet guy (tv and in person interviews). I don't know why people are making such a big deal out of his past. In every interview they mention it. He should be allowed to want money and make mistakes as a young man like everybody else. He has moved on so we should too! Also he is married so it's not like he's some bachelor with 15 girlfriends! He is a loving loyal husband.

OMG Magic Mike is such an awesome movie i went to the screening. All i have to say its a must to watch in theaters then to wait for it on DVD. The ladys will love it for sure!!

I will DEFINITELY go see Magic Mike. Channing Tatum, Matthew McConaughey, Matt Bomer, Alex Pettyfer, and Adam Rodriguez all playing strippers??? HELL YEAH I AM GOING TO SEE IT!

Who cares,he's hott ;) the ladies like him for his hotness,not the acting. If acting mattered,no one would watch movies like Dear John or any of the Twilight movies. Its just fun for some ladies to watch a typical "love story" chick flick with mediocre acting and hot actors and beautiful actresses. And its never gonna change haha

It amazes me how desperate people are for entertainment, if you can even call it that. From what I've heard, The Vow was a snorefest. Channing Tatum can't act but he's being cast in a surprising number of movies. Two words folks, Casting Couch. As for Magic Mike, LOL. Why established actors would agree to take their clothes off in a tacky movie about strippers is beyond me. Adam Rodriguez turned down a role in Batman so he could be in this cheesy flick parading around in a g-string. Cuckoo!
