Just when you thought The Walking Dead couldn’t get any better, AMC announced a new addition to the cast today. Fans were already ecstatic about the return of Michael Rooker, but now they’ve got another new dead character to really send them over the edge.
Apparently the Home Alone star, Macaulay Culkin was walking down a street in Los Angeles when he literally bumped into the show’s creator Robert Kirkman, knocking him to the ground. Witnesses say Kirkman screamed frantically when he looked up and saw a sickly, gaunt Culkin trying to help him up.
Said Kirkman, “I swear to God, he looked just like one of our zombies. My initial reaction was to recover my footing and remove its head. It wasn’t until he apologized that I realized who he was.”
A friend of Culkin says that Kirkman and Culkin met immediately following the incident with executive producer Frank Darabont. Darabont immediately signed Culkin to 13 episodes sighting, “Not only do we get a big time name, but we save a little money on makeup.”
