Finally, Actual ‘Looper’ Teaser Trailer Lands With Joseph Gordon-Levitt

Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Rian Johnson have become the masters of ‘Looper‘ foreplay, but finally they’ve delivered their teaser trailer which many of you will agree was worth going through three days of pre-teaser teasers. This teaser delivers major action and will be satisfying after all that waiting.

Yes, we’ve gone through three days of little teasers which gives a nice background for Joseph Gordon-Levitt’s latest sci-fi actioner ‘Looper‘ while waiting for the final product to explode on the screens and Levitt definitely explodes for you. You pretty much got the idea that the teaser would feature the transformation that Rian Johnson put his fellow ‘Brick’ star through, and we get to see it really well.  It loads lots of action along with explaining the story really well and includes shots of Emily Blunt, who we just love.

We’ve got plenty of images from the film for you to check out including some cool freaky shots of Joseph Gordon-Levitt looking like he’s transforming after being sent through some wormhole or his interpretation of ‘The Avengers’ Incredible Hulk switching to green. This was shot in 50 days and Johnson wrote the basic idea for ‘Looper’ ten years ago when he was reading through a lot of Phillip K. Dick books.  I think you’ll agree, this is one film that’s gonna be a fun thrill ride and further cement Gordon-Levitt’s career in any kind of movie he wants to do.

Looper Movie Synopsis
In the futuristic action thriller Looper, time travel will be invented – but it will be illegal and only available on the black market. When the mob wants to get rid of someone, they will send their target 30 years into the past, where a “looper” – a hired gun, like Joe (Joseph Gordon-Levitt) – is waiting to mop up. Joe is getting rich and life is good… until the day the mob decides to “close the loop,” sending back Joe’s future self (Bruce Willis) for assassination.

Actually it's nothing like Jumper. Joes character doesn't have a "special" talent. He is an assassin for the mob in the future. In his time , 2042, time travel hasn't even been invented yet. The mob who he works for sends him targets to kill because disposing of bodies is harder in the future. One day, his future self is sent back from 2072 when time travel has been invented.

So, this character is like the one from Jumper with a "special" talent, he can jump through time and has looped on his own past, so his future self is trying to break the causality loop he created? This was hinted at in the movie Jumper and Goulds novels.
