Another international trailer hits that’s in English ala The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 2 Japanese trailer lands for Joseph Gordon-Levitt’s sci-fi actioner Looper with Bruce Willis. There’s new images from the film to check out below.

I guess it’s a new trend for studios to put out international trailers like they did for The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 2 and keep the English but put foreign sub-titles. Looper’s the latest one to have that. Each new trailer that hits for the Joseph Gordon-Levitt Rian Johnson sci-fi thriller makes me more and more interested. Earlier in the week, the got creative with a promotional site, but the latest trailer adds much more than we’ve seen yet.

The trailer makes it look like killing can lead to a fun lifestyle getting whatever you want, but like Darren Aronofsky did in Requiem For A Dream, that wonderful looking life comes with a big ole cost. This one also shows more of the futuristic gadgets that are used and can be seen on the website. The concept has so many different layers, especially the idea that these Loopers may one day wind up having to kill a past or future version of themselves which could be the reason for the ‘live for today’ mentality. This is the type of film Rian Johnson was born to make.

Looper Movie Synopsis
In the futuristic action thriller Looper, time travel will be invented – but it will be illegal and only available on the black market. When the mob wants to get rid of someone, they will send their target 30 years into the past, where a “looper” – a hired gun, like Joe (Joseph Gordon-Levitt) – is waiting to mop up. Joe is getting rich and life is good… until the day the mob decides to “close the loop,” sending back Joe’s future self (Bruce Willis) for assassination.
