Shia LaBeouf made his big announcement that from now on it’s only indie films for him, and he’s on the way with Tom Hardy in Lawless which he helps get funded. A new clip and images have hit below.

After back to back blockbusters, Shia LaBeouf has decided he wants to pick his own movie to do, and he’s not vowing to only do indie films. Lawless with Tom Hardy and Guy Pearce is looking like it’ll do some good box office and LaBeouf will be happy since he was a major force behind getting this one funded. It’s based on the true story of the infamous Bondurant Brothers who were major bootleggers during the Prohibition era.

LaBeouf recently made more news before his big announcement to leave the major studio system in his tracks when he did a more artful music video that had many people seeing all sides of the young actor. He was quite vocal as usual in a THR interview where he stated: “There’s no room for being a visionary in the studio system. It literally cannot exist,” he says. “You give Terrence Malick a movie like Transformers, and he’s f–ed. There’s no way for him to exist in that world.”
This is pretty much what many in Los Angeles think but won’t say probably fearing that with the drying of movies, this could only alienate them from the powers that be.
