Fan reactions to the first look at the upcoming RoboCop remake were less than stellar, so here’s another go at seeing Joel Kinnaman up close and personal. Check out the latest images from the set below.
When the first Robocop costume images hit last month, fans were less than thrilled; first off of why the film was being remade, but the the outfit hit and that set off another firestorm. Now images have hit thanks to NewsCom of Jose Padilha’s remake while they were shooting at the University Of Toronto.
This scene is where Alex Murphy’s cyborg suit is first revealed to the public and media while OmniCorp CEO Raymond Sellars (Michael Keaton) stands nearby. I’m not seeing a big difference in the suit since it looks pretty much the same as last month’s reveal while they were shooting in Hamilton, Ontario. You also get to see Abbie Cornish, who plays Ellen, the wife of Murphy’s partner Lewis (Michael Kenneth Williams). I’m sure having this corporate tie in with the cyborg will wind up becoming everything Murphy didn’t want and thus RoboCop gets to fight for his independence from the corporate stranglehold. We’ll see, here’s what they’ve got for now.
