‘Men In Black 3‘ has sent us more onset images to show that the film is finally back on track after all the delays, script overhauls and Alec Baldwin leaving. Check out Will Smith & Josh Brolin in their black.
We got some interesting e-mails from disgruntled ‘fans’ about our report in February about the ‘Men In Black 3′ delays. After a quick check on where the mail came from, we weren’t so shocked that it was from Sony. We had this not too long from Warner Bros after we raked their ‘Skyline’ over the coals.
Now, we’ve been sent a few images (above and below) showing Will Smith and Josh Brolin (as a young Tommy Lee Jones) on the set in New York showing off their black suits.
In the sequel, Smith’s suave, wisecracking MIB character Agent J goes back in time where he meets a young Agent K (Tommy Lee Jones’ character, now played by Josh Brolin as a younger man) and must save the world from another alien attack or invasion. Like with ‘Fast Five‘, we know what we’re going to get, but from all the issues this movie’s had, I’m putting more bet on ‘Fast Five’ this time around.
Barry Sonnenfield is back to direct the 3rd and what we’re hearing final installment of the franchise. Friction has been more than usual on this film, and our Sony sources say that everyone involved is over it and can’t wait to move on from the mess.
‘Men In Black 3′ hits theaters May 12, 2012 unless more delays ensue.
