After being welcomed into the world on Sunday, Kourtney Kardashian’s newborn, Penelope Scotland Disick, announced her new reality show today via Twitter.
“Psyched to get my very own show on E!“…read the tweet…”and super excited to learn how to not poo myself! #pottytraining.”
Penelope’s Privileged Life will feature Penelope “crying, doing nothing and flopping around with minimal self-awareness” according to creator Mary-Ellis Bunim, who added, “It’s a tried and true Kardashian formula.”
Kourtney’s mother Kris Jenner expressed relief at the news. “She’s been around for four days now. It’s about time she starts pulling her weight in this family. Speaking of which, she could stand to lose a few ounces.”
Kourtney isn’t as anxious as her mother, saying, “We didn’t want to rush Penelope into fame. Every kid deserves the chance to just be a kid. But now that she’s had over half a week to really discover who she is as a person, I think she’s ready.”
Kourtney’s sister Kim appeared irritated by the announcement. “It’s like you don’t have to do anything to get a show these days,” complained Kim. “My sex tape was twice as hot as Penelope’s birth tape. Although Executive Producer Ryan Seacrest did vomit after he saw both of them, but that’s another story for Kathy Griffith to cover.”
