Ryan Murphy Goes Into the Woods ‘American Horror Story: Asylum’ 19

There’s nothing enchanted about this forest in Ryan Murphy’s latest teaser trailer for American Horror Story: Asylum entitled The Woods. It’s number 19 in the series, and it’s looking like the aliens could be hiding and running through the fog. Check out the latest clip and images below.

Fog has always been very creepy to me since it’s just a layer of moisture that hangs in the air, but it can hide scary things behind it, and Ryan Murphy is hitting on that with the 19th teaser trailer for American Horror Story: Asylum. In these woods, other things exist, and they do have an alien look to them which would tie in well with the Exam teaser that just hit. As a kid, I remember seeing the trailer for the original John Carpenter’s The Fog movie, and it scared the crap out of me. I lived in an area where the fog rolled in nearly every morning and walking out to the school bus was never the same after that. Not being able to see what was in front of me combined with that trailer made for some very scary mornings!

The upcoming season of American Horror Story: Asylum stars Jessica Lange, Adam Levine, Clea Duvall, Frances Conroy, Mark Consuelos, Lizzie Brochere, Franka Potente, Chloe Sevigny, Zachary Quinto, Sarah Paulson, Evan Peters, Lily Rabe, James Cromwell, and Joseph Fiennes and will kick in October 17, 2012.
