Remember when it used to be a surprise to see the ads only on Super Bowl Sunday? Now they’re putting out teasers to the trailers for the big day, or in the case of ‘The Hunger Games‘ just showing the entire trailer rather than waiting.

I’m assuming that Lionsgate knows that most ‘Hunger Games‘ fans aren’t avid football fans so rather than making them sit through the Super Bowl (they may rather watch the Puppy Bowl) they’ve put out the trailer ahead of time. This will also be in theaters next week so if you miss it one spot, it’ll be hitting you in another.
This new trailer looks good like the other, and many will easily think ‘The Running Man’ for kids, but we do get a little more action from the games in this one.

Starring: Jennifer Lawrence, Josh Hutcherson, Liam Hemsworth, Woody Harrelson, Elizabeth Banks, Stanley Tucci, Donald Sutherland, Wes Bentley, Toby Jones, Amandla Stenberg, Alexander Ludwig, Isabelle Fuhrman, Jacqueline Emerson, Paula Malcomson, Dayo Okeniyi, Jack Quaid, Leven Rambin, Willow Shields and directed by Gary Ross.
This trailer definitely has a lot of bits and pieces that we saw in the first one, but at least there’s a little sneak of the preparation training for the games and then the look quick before you miss it scene of the games in action.
You’ll be seeing the whole thing March 23, 2011.

@oldcabbage4846177 You call Jennifer Lawrence, an Oscar-nominated actress already at just 21 y.o., a talentless bitch? You just have no idea what talent is, and there’s no need to insult her – what’s she ever done to you?

its not that good…
at 6:40 pm
@petdoctor3000 It has the same effect on me.

I liked it the first time I saw it when it was called The Running Man. It was good then without some talentless bitch as teh lead.

flawless trailer is flawless.
i’m SO excited for this movie.

@JonathanJonnyJones Actually, I was referring to the actors and actresses, rather than the authoress, since they’re the people you unjustifiably insulted regarding their looks. And yes, these people earn more for one film than you’ll make in several years. Your comments smack of jealous trolling.
As for Suzanne Collins’ writing, it’s already a classic of its genre, selling millions and the best fiction I’ve ever read. Criticise when you surpass it.

to those who have not read the books, do not compare this to other movies. She wasn’t trying to copy off of other plots or rip off other movies.

I watched one of the others and then this one and after hearing the whistle twice I realized it was Rue’s four-note whistle….and then I burst into tears.
