Guy Pearce’s ‘Lockout‘ came and went real fast at the theater, but it hits blu-ray/dvd today and here’s the latest interactive trailer to either make you laugh or make Guy Pearce fans rush out in droves.

I think ‘Lockout‘ is more for hardcore Guy Pearce fans, and for those of you that saw the film, you know why I say that. I thought it was mindless fun, but many fanboys really really really hated it and hate the fact that Pearce is doing so many fans of varying quality lately ala how Nick Cage started his downward movie trend. I can’t believe someone of Pearce’s quality will continue doing so so action films, but I yearn to see him in another great film and he does indie so well!

In ‘Lockout’ Guy Pearce plays Snow, a man wrongly convicted of conspiracy to commit espionage against the U.S., who is offered his freedom if he can rescue the president’s daughter from an outer space prison taken over by violent inmates. Yup, I know. I tried giving it the benefit of the doubt with some expectations, but if you lower them and just go in knowing nothing about the film, it’s enjoyable enough. At home on blu-ray should be fun to watch though as some sub-par films go over better there when you’re in the right environment.

‘Lockout’ hits blu-ray and dvd today but you can also get On Demand or Netflix and Redbox for some light watching in the middle of the week.
