Glee’s new season is almost here, and here’s some new images to tide you over along with when The Glee Project’s Blake Jenner will make his first appearance. There’s going to be a major break-up coming so Blake could be there fill in the gap.

Fall is almost here and Ryan Murphy’s Glee is ready to embrace it with open arms and a whole lot of changes along with new characters and guest stars. We already know that Lea Michele’s Rachet hits New York City, but the preview below shows her coming up against teacher Cassandra July (Kate Hudson) in what will surely be funny. Hudson’s best role for me has still be in Almost Famous, but this role could be a memorable one for her rather than all those forgettable rom coms she’s done. That’s just the first episode, but for the next one Rachel will be doing a steamy dance number with Dean Geyer. The images below will give you an idea.

I lost some interest in the show last season, and I felt that Murphy’s reality show The Glee Project could actually teach Glee some lessons. The Glee Project actually felt more like Glee did in Season 1 than it had for the past two seasons. On this season, there was a amazing spirited young woman in a wheelchair, a blind guy and one who had undergone a sex change operation. This captures the spirit of Glee more than the show has, but the winner of the project is a real Fin double in Blake Jenner. The guy is good, but I’m wondering if they will also bring in the Muslim girl who really defied the stereotype and would make for an amazing storyline on the show. He’s very likeable, very good singer and actor, but it felt like a very safe choice for the show. Below are images of his very excitable win.
He’s be popping up for Episode 5 which is right on the heels of “The Break-Up” episode. Brittana, Klaine, and Finchel are all in danger of splitting, and producer Brad Falchuk revealed that some couples recover, and “absolutely some don’t.”

Right now, the big changes are Rachel and Fin having storylines outside of McKinley High and the usual crop of guest stars coming in for ratings. Hopefully this season, Murphy will get the show more interesting again. I’m sure hardcore fans will strongly disagree, but the show definitely could use a little tune-up to keep it strong for an entire season. I like this show, and with Murphy having a glut of shows on the air this fall (The New Normal, American Horror Story), I hope this one doesn’t suffer for it.

Above are the images from Rachel’s Lea Michele encountering Kate Hudson for the first episode of Glee. This storyline seems like it could be a really fun on as she’s now the proverbial little fish in a very very big pond and Hudson is letting her know it. Fingers crossed this season is a great one again. Season 4 premierees September 13, 2012 on FOX.
