Swimming phenom, Michael Phelps, made his mark at the 2012 London Olympic Games, and fans are saddened that he’ll be retiring from swimming at the age of 27. We first started posting images from his victories at the Olympics, and now fans have send us so many images, we’ve created a tribute page gallery for the man off who’s now off to the golf course with Hank Haney.

Michael Phelps came into the 2012 London Olympic Games with 14 Olympic gold medals, but he’s retiring from swimming at the age of 27 with a record breaking 22 gold medals. He had always said that he wanted to do things that had never been done before, and he can proudly say that he accomplished that feat. His other first is being the only Olympic swimmer to win gold in the same event three times, and after his final race of his career, he was given a statue to mark the moment.

Phelps fans have reached out to our site with an enormous amount of images of the phenom swimmer along with tribute videos ranging from a two year old boy who wants to be like him to heartfelt goodbyes. We reported yesterday that Phelps has already landed a reality show where he’ll be adding golfer to his resume. You can expect to see him at the 2016 Rio Olympics, but not in a Speedo, but more comfortable clothes and a golf club adding more gold to his massive collection.
