‘The Dark Knight Rises’ marketing did a smart one in mixing in a cool tv spot during the NBA Playoffs and splicing scenes in with the players making quite the effect. Christopher Nolan’s last of the Batman franchise wants to rival ‘The Avengers‘ continued box office record breaking dominance.
‘The Dark Knight Rises‘ marketing has been doing it smart, and slowly bringing out trailers and images but each one has a purpose and a bang up effect. Below you can check out the cool splicing of the Batman footage with some of the top NBA players doing what they do best against Christian Bale and Tom Hardy showing what they do best.Above is the wanted poster for Batman that hit a few weeks back. Now we know exactly what he’s being accused of too.
Here’s a cool layout which goes into detail on Tom Hardy’s Bane mask and why he even needs it in the first place…besides making the studios execs at Warner Bros nervous for muffling his voice. We learn that Bane’s not a roid freak after all but just a ‘Warrior’ type fighter (another great film Hardy did) who cranks up the medicine so he feels no pain. Isn’t that basically what the NFL players do when they take those cortisone shots to stay in the game?
