It seems like it’s been a long time since any ‘The Dark Knight Rises‘ stuff hit, but EW naturally got some more images of Batman, Tom Hardy’s Bane and Catwoman to check out below.

With all the excitement we had at ‘The Avengers‘ premiere last night, it was great to be reminded that another incredible superhero movie would be coming our way this summer, and here’s a nice new crop of ‘The Dark Knight Rises‘ images to check out. This will be one of those rare summers where most of the big blockbuster movies will be good any some even great like these two.  In the article Tom Hardy discusses the big Bane muffled voice controversy and answers in only the way he can…right to the point!

I’ve noticed Chris Nolan has been including shots of Joseph Gordon-Levitt in the mix which is great that he’s been really pushing this fine actor’s career along after ‘Inception’. I wonder if Greg Araki will ever get to work with Gordon-Levitt again as he was most responsible for him being recognized as more than just Tommy from ‘Third Rock From the Sun‘ with ‘Mysterious Skin‘.

I reckon Batman will defeat Bane as the film is called The Dark Knight Rises. The first film is the beginning of Batman, and then the second is when he falls from grace, then finally when the city needs him he will rise. I remember what Alfred always tells him: why do we fall? so we can learn to pick ourselves up.

Um, it's called suspense. Is the hero powerful enough to defeat this new foe? We're not sure, considering the hero is older and weaker. Otherwise, we're assured of the protagonists' victory and lacking.. uh I don't know... suspense. Go back to Film 101...
