Now that the Weinstein’s and Relativity Media patched up their legal differences, they are moving forward (again) with their remake of ‘The Crow’ movie that originally starred Brandon Lee. With all the problems this remake has had, you know there’ll be plenty more ahead.
Relativity Media is determined to make ‘The Crow’ movie remake, even settling out of court with the Weinstein’s after a nasty legal battle. Director F. Javier Gutierrez (“Before the Fall”) has just been signed to come onboard the everchanging project, and now, Jesse Wigutow has been brought on to write the script. So far, Mark Wahlberg has flitted with the role and more recently Bradley Cooper, but I think they’re going to be smarter to cast an unknown for the role if they want to get this film in gear. Fans, and original director Alex Proyas haven’t been too happy about a remake being done, and after all the problems this production has had, don’t be surprised if it winds up getting shelved or just a direct to dvd treatment.
Wigutow’s credits include the 2006 TV movie The Prince , his upcoming credits include HBO Films’ Irreparable Harm, rewriting The Osterman Weekend and the Steve McQueen biopic, Divorcees.
This ‘Crow‘ will have quite a distance to fly before it ever hits the big screen.

It’s stranger than that: Bruce played in a move where he faked his death. In the movie,he was accidentally killed by a firearm that was loaded accidentally.

Wow… I am so glad I have seen this movie, a timeless movie. What a pure talent Brandon Lee. A wonderful, amazing movie. I have never seen a movie such a masterpiece, it can top the LOTR for me at times too. And not just that, the atmosphere of the movie, all of it. just Wow… from now till my time ends, this movie is on top of everything to me…
