Lionsgate is looking to have another crappy year from the looks of the teaser trailer for ‘Conan the Barbarian‘ the lastest movie remake that never needed to be remade. These remakes are getting to feel like the studios are just spitting in the movie goers faces now with box office attendance continually dropping from year to year. Naturally the big corps that own the studios just get to write off these loses for the bad movie and blame online piracy. This teaser doesn’t really tease aside from making us make fun of the really bad dialogue and overuse of smoke to make us guess which characters are coming back. All the feedback we’re getting is ‘who cares’, and our sources over at the ‘Gate’ have informed us that Arnold won’t be making a cameo, and he’s lucky not to show his face in this mess.

Millenium is reportedly claming that the Conan remake is so good that they’re already developing a sequel, but as for those of us who know the biz side well, developing doesn’t mean anything except free money for the producers if they are still lucky enough to get a development deal at the studio. See what you all think, but since Rose McGowan seems to be taking any movie thrown her way, I’m not giving it much hope and our internal sources over at Lionsgate have been spot on.

"Yeah, it sounds more like something from ‘Buffy, the Vampire Slayer‘ show than ‘Conan the Barbarian'" ... Why? Because it has the word "slay" in it? It's a simplified, out-of-context paraphrase of an actual Robert E. Howard quote, from one of the original Conan stories. Which is appropriate, being as this isn't a remake, it's a new film based on a character created in the 1930s. It's no more a remake than Batman Begins was a remake of Tim Burton's Batman. We're working hard to make sure this film turns out good.

This will be the worst movie of 2011 ... and Arnold's old version will be better than this ... Good luck spending your money motivating such companies & people for making Low, Sh*ty, Unnecessary Remakes in 3D HHHHHHHHHH ...

Always thought this new Conan looked weird to me...his eyebrows are a little creepy...lol therefore he doesnt look very realistic to me, or that I can take him seriously for that matter...Ill be to distracted by his ugly face! LOL

Oh NO! How can they put the Twilight effect on Conan... I can tell the messed it up from this teaser alone. This one shouldn't have been touched. This is one that Arnold got right.

@ravenlodus How can you tell how good it's going to be based on that tiny teaser? I thought Predators was going to be amazing and true to the original movies, i'm still wiping the egg off my face over that one.

Hawaiian Gay Not.... Conan the great. Most important thing is Director of this movie is even more worst than the actor. look at his background he gave most flop worst movie. together they have spoiled my Conan taste.
